  • What are the ways to get my laptop to you?

    There are a number of ways to get your laptop to us, although a lot of software problems can be solved remotely:


    If you live in the Brighton & Hove area you can visit our service centre, just north of Brighton Marina. For further directions go to: https://www.digital-doctors.co.uk/contact-us 


    Alternatively, and you live in a BN post code area, we have a Tech Expert collection and return service. An additional fee of £20 will apply for this service.


    And if you live further afield, we can also dispatch a pre-paid courier box especially designed to protect laptops whilst in transit. An additional fee of £15 will apply for this service.

  • Are parts covered in the cost?

    Yes! If you book a one-off repair you will not have to pay anything over £156.50 for the parts & labour. If you subscribe, you will not have to pay anything over your standard £15.75/pm which includes the cost of your repair, the parts, the labour & the maintenance of your device!


    The only possible additional cost in the TechAssure service is the Collection or Return service, which can cost you a maximum of £10 per usage.

  • Does the subscription service fix include laptop screens?

    Yes, to a point. If your laptop screen is within our approved TechAssure screen repair list then we will fix the laptop screen for our standard fee.

  • If I want to subscribe, do I have to pay for the initial repair first?

    No! We will cover your repair and you can enjoy the benefits of TechAssure Maintenance Subscription as usual!

  • What are the terms & conditions?

    The following terms and conditions may apply: Intentional damage or damages caused by liquid spills.


    Whenever repairing a computer, particularly the casing, there is always a chance some cosmetic marks will be left behind. We do make every effort this doesn’t happen but there is always the chance. We cannot be held responsible for small cosmetic changes, regarding they don't affect the performance of the device.


    If a different part fails after the initial repair, the cost of the new part will be charged, but the labor costs will be covered under the extended warranty.


    Customers must be 21 years old or over to be eligible for the installment plan.


    Customers must provide proof of address, for example a utility bill with their name on it.

  • What is the minimum contract length?

    If you wish to spread the cost of your repair and join our TechAssure subscription, your contract will be valid for at least 12 months. If you opt for the one-off repair, you will not be required to join a contract, but must pay the entire cost up-front.
